Heinz Field To Host SilverSport Women’s Football Alliance National Championship

Heinz Field will host the 2012 SilverSport Women’s Football Alliance National Championship, presented by US Foods. The game will take place on Saturday, August 4, 2012 with kickoff scheduled for 4 p.m.

Moms Take the Field

The Acadiana Women's Tackle Football Team plays full-contact games

They play by NFL rules — full contact tackle football, wearing full equipment.

Some of them are medical professionals; some are students; some are police officers; some are teachers.

And many of them are mothers.
